Midcrest Farm and its associates will continue every year to breed each mare so the resulting foal will be of National quality. We demand pedigrees have strength and integrity. Dealing with genetics and reproduction always has the tendency towards mediocrity. We avoid breeding laterally by the dynamic quality of our mares.
Each resulting cross can benefit any breeder. This business of breeding horses can be more than a labor of love, but a passport to riches. We continue not to breed for being fashionable, but rather to continued improvement of already great mares. Thus each year new and experienced breeders alike, trainers, and youth can derive dynamic benefit from our efforts.
